Plus, on Indigenous Peoples Day, #landback for climate justice
The weather, currently.
A nice day to be outside
It will be clear and fairly cool overnight with temperatures down into the 40s. Monday looks like another sunny day and if you have the holiday off temperatures will be in the mid-60s — a nice afternoon to be outside.
On Tuesday it will be comfortably mild but there is the chance for a quick shower along with a blend of clouds and sunshine. Wednesday and Thursday feature temperatures in the mid-60s along with a lot of sunshine. The next chance of rain does come towards Saturday and if we do see rain on Saturday it wouldn't be surprising as that has been the case over the past month plus. For gardeners I do not see any early frost on the way as of yet.
What you need to know, currently.
One of the best climate strategies is returning stolen land to Indigenous people — this is what climate justice looks like.
This year, in advance of Indigenous Peoples Day, the NDN Collective has launched a Just Transition fund to help build technical capacity for frontline groups to continue the #landback fight.

Indigenous people already protect the vast majority of the world’s biodiversity, with technologies such as prescribed fire and responsible resource harvesting. It’s time for the rest of society to follow their lead.
