Currently in Boston — June 5, 2024: Warmer, except for the Cape and Islands

The weather, currently.

A southwesterly flow of air will bring warmer weather for Wednesday. Temperatures will be between 80 and 85 for most of us but noticeably cooler over Cape Cod and the islands where stays in the 60s.

Look for partly sunny skies throughout the day Wednesday. There's no chance of any rain. On Thursday, a frontal system brings clouds and showers. There could even be a few thunderstorms in the afternoon with temperatures only in the lower to middle 70s. Partial sunshine returns for the weekend.
