Currently in Boston — June 13, 2024: Continued sunny

The weather, currently.

Temperatures will start Thursday in the lower 60s and then rise to between 82 and 87 in the afternoon with the warmest readings over southwestern New England. Look for completely sunny skies.

Friday is similar but a little more humid. There will be a cold front approaching in the afternoon. This will bring about the chance for showers and maybe a thunderstorm. Some of these showers could contain downpours and localized flooding. Most of them will be over after 9:00 p.m., setting us up for glorious weekend.

Temperatures over the weekend will be in the mid to upper 70s with plenty of sunshine. The sunrise on Friday is the earliest of the year.
