Currently in Boston — June 12, 2024: A sunnier day

The weather, currently.

Quite a few clouds kept temperatures in the 70s for Tuesday but we will be warming up during Wednesday and specially Thursday and Friday. With all the sunshine, temperatures Wednesday will reach into the mid to upper 70s. There could be a little spot shower in the afternoon. A warm front lifts north of the region Thursday and Friday allowing temperatures to reach 85 to 90 along with some humidity. It will stay in the 65 to 70° range at night Thursday night for one of the first uncomfortable nights of the season.

Father's Day weekend will begin with a few showers and a thunderstorm Friday evening but that will set us up for two glorious Days Saturday and Sunday with temperatures 75 to 80. Some major heat is likely to arrive later next week.
